I want to state my views. I recently voted for Chris Southall of the Green Party. This was because the Green Party had a more acceptable policy for me than labour, and he is a friend.

1. They have bravely been the first party to contemplate a post economic growth model,.. I think the present exponential system must collapse.

2. The view of Labour is not clear about Brexit. I must be clear that I do not want to lose environmental standards, employment regulations, and I want my country to be contributing to reform of the EU. I definitely want to vote for an individual who will offer an alternative to leaving.

3. I am appalled by the divided state of the nation and the tacit racism.

4. I resent the way that so many senior Labour people seem to have dissociated from Corbyn. As far as I can tell he is a man with more integrity than so many of his predecessors.

5. Greens believe in Proportional Representation. I am not sure Labour do. I hate the way that we are doomed to have right wing domination in Clacton, and I would be happiest if no party could expect to be given absolute power.

….So I was delighted that an incompetent thoroughly despicable rabble were humiliated.

6. If next time which may be soon, I could vote tactically to attempt to defeat the right here. However there must be clarity on the above issues.

Hello,

Just angry about the situation in Kensington and the responses shown by Govt and local officials.

Im a bit younger than the party leader but i started work in 1972 and remember the 70s quite well as a young person. Oh and they were fun !

Ive always been self employed. Ive had shops, pubs and now i make pies ! but Ive always had a social conscience. Bernie Grant and Sharon Lawrence were my customers in another life. Just nice people.

Unfortunately things have got watered down over years. We were conned by Blair & co and even the coalition was wasted.

So tonight im reaching out to old sods like me, who aint living the high life on selling off thier council homes, reaching out to all young people with a bit of awareness and anyone thats sitting on the fence as I have been for too long.

Go out live your life, do great things, become what you desire. Build businesses. Be fair.

Well Im writing this in anger but Ive been awoken by the deaths of many poor souls just like you and me.

I am a ex service man Royal Navy / Royal Marines

I never been a political animal unlike my father a very deep stanch Labour Party man, but he said near to his death Labour is like a bad dance partner they know the tune but keep in step no! But what I am sending to you is two fold one is a personal strong request the second is my most deepest view. As I say being around the world so much I seen sights no man or woman should ever see or witness, and I learnt to to respect different viewpoints

But one viewpoint I just cannot hold or even accept is your leader attitude to the IRA if you had to witness a fifteen year old girl tarred and feathered why? Smiled at a Brit Solider that was her crime. But this one has given more nightmares than I would ever care for. A Army unit was having major issues removing one of their own from the street because of huge crowd trouble.

So I with others in my section arrive at the area and this was what I saw. A dead British Solider aged 18 laying in the gutter facing upwards his eyes wide open his life blood trickling very slowly down the near by drain and there was a huge crowd of woman with dustbin lids banging them hard on to the road singing screaming we’ve got a Brit down good bye good riddance, so my section push the crowd back I turned around saw this dead Soldiers oppos start to remove him one Soldier a close oppo closed his eyes another patted his arm as they placed him into the ambulance and then I turned back saw the women so hysterical giving the two finger salute as the ambulance drove away. So how can I ever vote knowing a man like your leader does not condom this and other vile acts and in fact supported them thugs because in all truth that is what they were.

Now to my demand I do not want any Labour leaflet ever to be placed through my letterbox or anything else your leader is a man whom I cannot understand or even like knowing his private views towards those thugs

For attn Tasha Osben

Hi Tasha,

I’m writing a potted guide to the candidates for the Clacton constituency for BBC News Online and their views and wondered if you could answer these questions in no more than 50 words (anything over will be cut).

Could you also email me a photo to use in the piece. My deadline is 5pm Monday 22 May.

1. Why should you be an MP?

2. What issue would get your vote in a general election?

3. If elected what would you definitely deliver?

4. Tell us something surprising about yourself?

5. If you could have anyone in the world as PM (alive, dead or fictional) who would it be?

Please let me know you’ve got this email.

Thank you again for your help.

My email address is nic.rigby@bbc.co.uk

All the best, nic

We are in the process of moving from central London to Holland on Sea as my partner’s sister has just bequeathed a bungalow to us. I am active member and in process of transferring to you CLP. I would stand as a candidate for the constituencey.

Hi James,

Welcome to Clacton Labour Party! We look forward to meeting you in person.

To change your membership location you need to inform the national party of your change of address. You can do this by emailing labourmembership@labour.org.uk or calling 0345 092 2299. Don’t worry if you can’t find your membership number. Give them your old address and postcode and they will sort that out too.

Hope that helps.
