On Monday 4th September there is a strike at McDonald’s restaurants in Crayford (SE London and Cambridge) supported by BFAWU bakers’ union. These are the first ever UK McDonald’s workers to go on strike.
Outside London BFAWU are calling for solidarity protests and leafleting at McDonald’s stores around the country.
At the last all members meeting of Clacton Labour Party on Wednesday we agreed to support the strike.
Members will be campaigning and leafletting McDonalds workers in Clacton Town Centre and in Weeley on Monday to tell them about the strikes in London and Cambridge and support their fight for better pay and conditions.
Please join us to show support for a £10 minimum wage and fair treatment.
